"The staff- when you could find them tried to be helpful. The walls are thin so we were kept up all night by loud groups on every floor. There is no security and people kept propping stairway door to outside open at night. Our keys cancelled out because staff person who gave us 3 keys did not know room card system can only handle two keys. It took hours to check in - not clear why. Our room had water damage under window."

"The music was extremely loud. I have to call Multiple times for staff to go to that room to have the family turn the music down. Extremely inconvenienced. There were multiple holes in the corners of the room."

"Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford-Manchester was particularly helpful as a pet-friendly motel. We stayed overnight with our two standard poodles, who slept comfortably on the room's carpet. Close by is the excellent Market Grill for dinner, and an attractive mall. Breakfast at the Hampton Inn was very good, with surprisingly good coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles for anyone who cared to make them. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and available. "Rooms were nice. Very clean and well maintained. Unlike many places I have stayed, air in the room was fresh. Did not smell as if it had been closed up for some time. Motel located in an area I felt safe to walk with many amenities within a short walking distance."

"A few things to note: first, the room we stayed in is typically $109 a night- they marked it up to $400 over graduation weekend. This is not a $400/night property. There is no elevator to the second floor- just a full flight of stairs and long hallways. The hallways also had a very strong odor. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were cold and minimal- cereal, yogurt, and pastries. There were no hot food and very limited protein options."

"Don’t book if you are bringing a pet and don’t want to pay $150 pet fee. We stayed one night and had paid almost $200. When booking on Expedia it said NOTHING about a pet fee (also it never had you say you were bringing a pet) so to be blindsided with a fee that was only $45 less than we had already paid. Basically we paid double what we expected. What a scam…I am all about the fee if informed up front…not when you have already arrived and have no choice. That amount is also insane for one...
