So so

The mentioned four star rating on the site is a bit misleading. These are apartments without service, and minimal communication. Room was very cold when I arrived at night. No elevators. Other than that, apartment is spacious enough.

Really friendly check-in (I was hours' early, off a transatlantic flight, and- understanding that I was so jetlagged- they enabled me to access the room well in advance of conventional check-in hours). Stylish and well-equipped studio apartment; comfortable bed; beautiful bathroom and shower space (complete with "Rituals" toiletries); nice kitchenette, with Nespresso machine, hob, and microwave; bright and airy, with view over gezellig Marnixplein- which was, admittedly, as to be expected, a little noisy late into the evening (not enough to disturb me, though). I enjoyed the independence of the space (street and room key, free to come and go as pleased without having to interact with any desk staff). Excellently situated near the KMSKA (3-mins. walk), and only 15 minute walk to cathedral/town hall/ historic centre; 20 minute walk to Centraal Station. Cafe downstairs served lovely pastries and coffee, with a much longer breakfast menu if desired. Absolutely no complaints; I highly recommend "The Soul" and shall definitely stay here again next time I'm in Antwerp.

Top locatie met tal van eet en drank mogelijkheden. Zeer gehorig en matig onderhouden, aantal zaken stuk, lavabo loopt niet door. Inkomhal rook niet fris.

Verblijf van één nacht (24 juli 2023), kamer 101 De accommodatie is gelegen aan een levendig plein in het centrum van Antwerpen met tal van cafés in de buurt. De studio is gezellig en ingericht met mooie schilderijen. Bed, badkamer en vloer waren erg schoon, maar de eettafel een beetje stoffig en de studio had een sterke muffe geur. Raamkozijnen zijn een beetje oud en niet geluiddicht, dus het was moeilijk om in slaap te vallen met al het lawaai dat van buitenaf kwam. In ruil daarvoor was de keuken uitgerust met een zeer handig koffiezetapparaat en authentieke Lilly-kopjes en koffie om de dag soepel te beginnen. De keuze voor het lezen van boeken was zo interessant, variërend van Belgische bieren tot erotische strips. Ondanks enkele tekortkomingen heb ik genoten van het verblijf en de man bij het uitchecken was zo vriendelijk.

De locatie was heel goed, tevens parking ondergronds (tegen betaling) in de buurt en het ontbijt was lekker. Echter hebben we overnacht toen het buiten onder 0 was en de verwarming stond niet aan in de kamer toen we 's avonds (18u) incheckten en toegang kregen tot de kamer. We hebben deze dan zelf aangezet, maar enkele uren later was de kamer niet opgewarmd.

The owners were kind and the property was quite a bargain for a place where you get your own small kitchen. The location was excellent. I must admit, however, that the black walls and black ceiling made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The biggest problem for me was the bathroom: the holder for the shower head was broken, as was the bathroom bin, and the shower door did not seal right, allowing the water to spill over quite a bit. I never quite understood how to raise the heat in the room, and a couple of nights it was pretty chilly. Overall, really not a fancy place, but my stay was still pleasant enough, as I didn't spend much time at all in the room. *Keep in mind the building does not have elevators*.

De locatie was fantastisch; erg centraal gelegen met in de buurt leuke kroegen (café Baron!) en restaurantjes (Meat & Eat is een echte aanrader!). De kamer zelf was niet echt schoon en zag er op veel plekken vervallen uit: de kraan lekte, de wc-bril zat los, op het pluche sprei op het bed zaten ondefinieerbare plekken en zelfs een brandgat van een sigaret terwijl er niet mag worden gerookt. De ramen waren van buiten heel vies en aan de binnenkant van het keukenraam zaten allemaal waterspetters; die was nog nooit gelapt...

Great location, cozy flat but needs cleaning

Great location and close to many restaurants. Couple minutes walk from tram Station. Easy check in, instructions received via email. Cozy flat, good lighting, comfortable bed good WiFi and chic cafe downstairs. Reminder if you have a massive suitcase it may be a hassle carrying up the narrow stairs as there is no lift. Cleanliness was poor, random people's hair stuck around the walls of the toilet, some odd yellow liquid dripping along the toilet walls.

Hele leuke plek in Zuid.Midden tussen de restaurants en loopafstand naar centrum. Wel boven een cafe. Vinden wij geen probleem, maar is tot een uur of 12 hoorbaar. Leuke en vriendelijke ontvangst, appartement in goede staat, niet superstrak, maar wel gezellig. Prima bed en badkamer. Alles keurig schoon.

Wonderfull location, apartment smelled of smoke.

The location was great, and the next door Soul Cafe very nice. The appartment had a very strong cigarette/smoke smell. And if you come in summer, you will have to be ok with the noise comming from the cafe downstairs.
