"The location was convenient to the train station, restaurants, and sights like the Edinburgh castle. It requires a climb to get up to the Royal Mile, however. We did not do breakfast there because we were told it was 30 pounds/person. From what I saw, it was a standard hotel breakfast but even if it were a cut above, that is too pricey, especially when there are lots of good coffee shops in the area. The lobby area is nice and they will check your baggage in a secure area if you arrive too...

"Can't beat the location while in Edinburgh. Situated in the heart of the Royal Mile and a short walk to the tram and several bus stops for exploring the city.
