"A friend recommended that we stay here and we were not disappointed. It was a large modern apartment, rather than a hotel room. Large living room with spectacular views of the city, fully equiped kitchen including washer and dryer, comfortable bedroom, and large bathroom. Location was excellent and walkable to everywhere we needed."

"This is a fabulous hotel and Spa. I had the King deluxe room and it was large and spacious with a balcony. The Sizzle on the shore buffet bbq gives a large range of food types with healthy options. The Spa however, is a must go treat for any travel. There is a gym and also an adult only infinite pool. Then also options for families with small children. You are right on the beach which is sandy. HIghly recommend the resort. "

"Our room was very spacious and amazing Seaview. The room was very clean. Our Breakfast was great with w food choices. The dinner was very delicious .It was Italian fine dining a nd the staff was amazing. We enjoyed our kayaking and ATV rides. Tanjung Rhu is very nice place to relax."

"The resort is the only one of its kind in the main tourist area in Langkawi. It has multiple restaurants/ bars and 2 pools. The second pool had just been refurbished and was slick and modern, the larger pool area was more dated but was clean and really pleasant to cool off in. "We stayed in a Premier Seaview Chalet (1233) during the first week of May, so certainly not as busy as previous reviews indicate. It was hot and humid though and it took a few days to acclimatise. Thankfully the air conditioning in our chalet was very good and we loved the free mini bar, replenished daily. Great variety for breakfast at both restaurants. "This resort has fantastic staff. Their best asset! The manager ( having met him, not interested in guests) needs to make an effort at cleaning up all the debris in the water. It is an eco resort but there is no evidence that they are doing anything to clean the water. It is a Malaysian issue but the resort needs to make an effort. I would not snorkel in the sea of waste!Make an effort!…not even a garbage can or a staff member assigned to clean up! "

"The buffet was okay. There is access to the pool at the Magellan Sutera as well. The staff is polite, but less attentive than what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. I wish the entertainment i.e. bowling, billiards etc. is on site. Instead, all entertainment including the jacuzzi are on the Marina Club, which is quite a walk you'd feel lazy to go to on a hot day.
