"This hotel is pricey but it makes up for it for the amenities and convenience that is close to subway and train stations and it is walking distance from many tourist destinations like Madison Square Garden, Times Square, etc. It is very modern, has many places to lounge or work while you wait to check in, has a nice college or artsy vibe. The only thing we didn't like is that the room air conditioner doesn't cool properly, it shut off and on all through the night which made for trouble sleeping....

"The hotel is great - as you would expect from citizen M but it’s in a mixed area - on the edge of Soho which is great and well within walking distance and good access to subway via Spring St but the side of the road the hotel is on is quite run down and it’s very close to the bridge so the noise is significant from traffic.
