Top West Shore Hotel Reviews

Strathcona Hotel

8/10 Good

"Location to all Downtown is the main attraction, Parking is limited. Sent to a Parking lot that required the Victoria App download, Not the most convenient.I would stay again, just park in a private parkade"

Hotel Grand Pacific

8/10 Good

"The smoke detector has a green light directly over the bed. Disturbs sleep. Room is very small."

Hotel Rialto

"Check in check out were pleasant and easy. The stay was comfortable."

Arbutus Inn

8/10 Good

"I booked a room with a kitchen for my stay for Thanksgiving weekend and the Royal Victoria Marathon. The room had some pots and pans, utensils and cutlery. I really wish there were some basic things available like cooking oil, or in the very least, salt and pepper. Even if they were by request, that would be helpful for short stays and using the kitchen. Aside from that, the room was clean, the bathroom looked recently renovated and the bed was very comfortable. I usually find that hotel beds are too soft for my liking, but I was surprised to find this bed was firm enough that I had a pretty good sleep. My room faced the west, mostly against a big wall, but around it, I had a lovely view of the sunset each night I was there. I had some trouble with my room key on my second day, but the front desk staff were very helpful in getting me back into my room. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider this a good option next time I'm visiting."
