"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"Ideally locate just off Bourbon Street , the Monteleone provided every comfort imaginable. Of special note was the incredible staff. From the front desk to the concierge to the bellmen to housekeeping, all were kind, eager to please and happy! A credit to the human resources management . In short, I loved my stay!"

"Stayed in a River junior suite with no river view.🙃The room was very nice but not worth the extra charge for a river view since it was very very limited. The newly erected hotel tower across the street blocked the view. These rooms should not be advertised as river view. I have stayed here many times before and always had a great experience. The staff and location are great!"
