"The pod hotel is really great. 2nd time we’ve stayed here. It is spotless. Concierge are super helpful and so knowledgeable. We didn’t eat here and only had 1 drink at the bar as New a York is outside the hotel.
It’s 5min walk from Times Square, the bus station and 10min from Javits Conference centre, the Vessel & Hudson Yards.
The rooms are compact but for 3 days were perfect as they are really clean and shower is awsome. Cleaned every day. Remember to put your “Service Now” plate on the outside of the metal door.
I really do like pod hotel."
"I loved how close this hotel was to everything. Right in the middle and not in the heart of time square which is great if you don’t like a lot of noise like me. It’s connected to the grand central station which is perfect getting to the train quickly and exploring all of New York which is what I did. Very affordable and nice, spacious. Would definitely stay here again."
"Review – Times Square West Hotel (BW Signature Collection)
I stayed here for four nights. The hotel is clean and the location is excellent—very close to Times Square, which was convenient for my conference.
However, the biggest issue—and the reason I would not return—is the internet. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, especially when you plan to work. Unfortunately, it did not work in the rooms at all. It only worked on the ground floor, forcing me to go downstairs very early in the morning or late at night just to get a connection. I was given a code, yet the networks didn’t even require a password, which raised security concerns.
I reported the issue multiple times during my stay. Each time, I was told someone would look into it, but nothing was ever fixed. At one point, I was even told there was nothing they could do.
I also gave them a fair opportunity to address this. There was a sign encouraging guests to leave Google reviews, so I asked the staff directly—more than once—if they believed they deserved a good rating given the situation. They acknowledged the issue and understood my frustration, but no action was taken. It felt like the problem was known and simply accepted.
Breakfast was acceptable, but the hours (6:30–9:30 AM) are quite limited.
Overall: clean and well-located, but the lack of working internet and unresolved issues made the stay frustrating. I would not return and cannot recommend it."
"The property was very convenient to walk to subway stations, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Wish it had a coffee maker in the room. It was a hassle to go down 40 floors to grab a cup of coffee in the morning."
"Staff was super sweet and friendly. Was able to give us directions at times too. Food was amazing in the lobby bar. And the waiter we had is super awesome. "
"Elevators were inadequate for the number of floors and people staying there. Breakfast a madhouse each day. Very average. Staff were cheerful, helpful, profesional."
"Unfortunately, I really wanted to love this hotel. The lobby is absolutely stunning. Everyone working at the reception desk was kind, down-to-earth, and helpful. We had a late flight in so we arrived around 10 PM, and immediately went to Times Square to check it out. When we got back to the room, I noticed that after I had turned the heat on it still stayed at 63°. It was 40° outside, and the heat did not work. My daughter and I froze the first night. I thought it would be better the next morning, but the room did not get any warmer. I went to the front desk to tell them that the heat was broken and they wrote my room number on a sticky note and told me that maintenance would take a look at it. I did not have to be in the room just go on about my day and my vacation. When I checked back in the afternoon, I asked if anyone had been up to the room yet and they had no idea what I was talking about. So once again, I asked them to have maintenance take a look at the heat. When I got back later that evening, it was still at 63°. I went back down to the desk and asked for a new room. They were fully booked so they could not accommodate me. They told me to check back in the next morning for a new room and gave me a blanket, but I would have to wait until they were all cleaned. I also waited 30 minutes for a room key. I was promised a better room, that their bellhop staff would take care of our bags. None of this happened. By our 4th night and 3 rooms, we were finally accommodated."
