"The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Also the music being played was dire . Funeral music "

"We had a 3 night comfortable stay at hotel. The room was clean, spacious and well prepared. Had dinner from the pub every night and their food was great and reasonably priced. There wasn't much needed from the staff but they were friendly professional and helpful when needed. We found the location to be immensely ideal when visiting Edinburgh. 6-7 minute to Livingston North train station with free parking, 2 big shopping centres with many eating options in walking distance,Starbucks right in...
