"Worth it! Beautiful hotel. I was concerned about the price; however, the staff, location, and amenities make it feel worth it. Everyone was respectful and welcoming. If you’re used to an all-inclusive this hotel is not that experience. It’s also not a 5 star hotel but a good entry point into that experience. Everything is expensive but you’re paying for the location and experience. My biggest complaint: my bathtub was not clean and I think the initial daily deposit is too high. Outdoor pool and hot tub made me forget that I overpaid to stay here."

"This was a great property especially for the price. Not the most desirable location compared to other places Ive stayed in San Juan, but not once did I feel unsafe and I’m a female that was traveling with another female. 2 bars within 500 feet of the property that sold excellent food and cheap!! Coffee shop next door and a great breakfast spot was within sight. Property messaged me and made sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Only complaint was the steps. I had a 45 lb suitcase and it was a struggle(I overpacked). the steps are steep. I definitely think this is my new go to spot to stay when I visit Puerto Rico in the future. And for reference I usually stay at the Caribe Hilton and the Decanter hotel when I’ve visited over the last 4 years and they are both really nice properties, but I’ll choose La ferreteria from now on."
