"As regular customers of Dakota Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh we had been looking forward to staying at Dakota Newcastle to celebrate our anniversary. "Comfy room, generous towels.
Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service.

"Easy to check in. Was very surprised how well kept and clean the room was and actually matched the photos, very impressed. Also very quiet considering it is right next to the A1. On returning from a wedding we had the pleasure of speaking with Michael on reception who is a credit to the hotel, fantastic hospitality and chat, such a laugh! Will definitely stay again if needs be. "

"Overall experience ok, staff friendly but only one staff at the morning breakfast and have to wait for 20 mins just to order.
Room was basic for Bannatyne standard. The standard double bed was very uncomfortable as it was combination of 2 beds joined together leaving the gap in the middle. Shower was flooded and toilet flush buttons not working properly. A bit dissappointed."

"Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and bathroom was clean - nice to have a bath and a shower. Lovely kingsize bed (and very comfy!) No fridge in the room though which was a shame when staying for more than a night or two. Appreciated the free WiFi and decent TV.
