This experience was more like motorway services than hotel. The whole hotel seemed to have white walls everywhere, especially the corridors.
When going to the restaurant for dinner, I was told I’d need to eat in the bar area as the restaurant was closed for a conference delegates dinner. The restaurant probably had tables for 50-60 people but there were only about 15 delegates!!
I reluctantly went to the bar area. I have to say the best thing I could say about the staff is they were there. No personality, no smiles, low energy. I ordered a ribeye steak for dinner, which because it was priced at £31 should be great. It was a complete rip-off. I took a picture and would post a picture here if I could for you to make your own mind up.
Overall, whilst the room was comfortable it needed a deep clean, especially the bathroom. The toilet u-bend…. urghh. This hotel felt soul-less.
This is not the Leonardo brand standard I know.
