Hotel Rooms with Balcony in Catalina Island

"The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be able to store our luggage after checkout so we could continue exploring on our last day before it was time for our ferry. The room was small and a little outdated, but very comfortable and quiet. Perfect for the 2 nights we spent there. Perfect location, central to everything! "

"The room looked much better in the photos, the decoration and furniture wasn’t near as nice. The windows were very dirty on the outside and one was even cracked. Also the tub fixtures were very hard to operate and the curtain was mounted diagonally across the tub making it difficult to shower. However, the location is very convenient to the restaurants and activities. "

"After staying at a couple of budget motels on our trip, the Catalina Canyon Inn felt like a resort. Our room was nice and big and clean. The lobby has a good assortment of snacks and there's a restaurant, but there is no free breakfast. There is a pool and no hot tub. It is quiet at night. Here's the only caveat: the inn is located at the top of a hill. It's about a 15-minute walk from downtown. *I don't recommend attempting to walk there with your luggage from the ferry.* They run shuttles (aka minivans) to the ferry terminal and downtown; they sit 5 people. You can also hail a taxi if the shuttle is full. BUT if it's a hot day and the taxis and shuttles are busy, you're probably gonna have to sit and wait for a while."

"Breakfast minimal. Attendant let coffee runout didn't have back up took at least 20minutes to refill pot and also let food run out. Poor attitude. All other personnel good. motion detector on toilet room light kept going on ,not needed especially in middle of the night. Very nice room, good size"
