"I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. "Um dos hotéis mais incríveis em que fiquei. Quartos ótimos com uma vista única sobre o Douro. Tenho apenas a salientar a falta de limpeza da piscina. Pelas 12h a piscina ainda not inja sido limpa e tinha vários insetos. Também de realçar falta de manutenção na casa de banho com as portas e rodapés ligeiramente descascados o que não traduz a qualidade geral do hotel."

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "
