For those reading reviews to decide if they should book based on the bed type - it's a spring mattress, quite firm. It was comfortable, but not 'super comfortable'. "Wonderful accommodation — highly recommended! Located just outside of Ponta Delgada, it offers a quieter atmosphere away from the crowds while being surrounded by locals, which made our stay feel even more authentic. The apartment was very clean, and communication was always quick, friendly, and helpful. "I’m just going to state the facts here. When we first arrived, the electronic keypad did not work. We had to communicate with the property manager. They were able to get housekeeping to come out and assist. They gave us the code to the system and it did not work. We were able to access the lockbox key and use it to get in.
