Giving 3 day's notice and being told I could not avoid cancelation fees was completely unfair !!! Not only will I never stay there, I will recommend my family and friends avoid, and my neice, who is honeymooning in Porto in October will be told to avoid your hotel.
Additionally, i will be posting on instagram and on X (Twitter), letting as many people as possible know that you charged me despite my early cancelation ..... and I am sure your hotel had plenty of time to get another patron booked into that room.

isn't this the exact sort of shameless, capitalistic, business for profit, behavior that Europeans love to shame the USA about? Seems you learned very well!
