The bed mattress was super uncomfortable, it was to hard It is a bit far from the center of Playa del Carmen We didn't get the room cleaned any day of the 4 days of our stay We also didn't have bodywash luckily I brought my own. The room was a good size and we were like 15 min walking from the center of Playa del Carmen

Amazing staff, very attentive if we needed anything. Beds were a little hard and pillows could use a refresh. Very close to the best beach in Playa Del Carmen so we appreciated that. Overall it's a wonderful small hotel that's a little out of the way to enjoy the 5th Avenue experience but if you don't mind a stroll its well worth staying at, and you can't beat the price.

This was place was great, not far from 5th Avenue. Staff were super nice and attentive/helpful. Location was great and felt safe. In front of a Sunday market so it was wholesome to see them prep their stands. Nice spot for our tour guides to find and pick us up. Overall, the stay was excellent! Will visit again soon!

Mirla works at the front desk. My 3rd day she efficiently moved my room to the back and stored my luggage for when I returned. I found the dogs barking a little annoying, where some people may not even notice. Mirla also helped me with the bike rental at the hotel. Thank you for excellent service.

The experience was good for the short time that I spent there. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing I could ask for was body lotion.

Nice clean quiet room, enjoyed the rooftop pool area, only bummer is the pool was quite cold, but lovely views. We had it to ourselves the second day. Both girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, loved the breakfast served in the restaurant and the pizza was great as well. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night.

Great little hotel

Great little hotel at a reasonable rate . Only a few blocks away from the best area of Playa but much quieter. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean , great AC , strong water pressure and lots of hot water. 24 hour reception. Good restaurant downstairs. Beautiful rooftop terrace with pool. Big comfortable bed. Good lighting and power outlets. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Big Chedraui supermarket walking distance. Free water dispenser, coffee. Tea and fruit in the lobby. Would highly reccomend.

Michelle was the best! She made me feel comfortable and was very helpful. My interaction with being charged for something that while at Emilio’s was disappointing and I felt like The young gentleman in Emilio’s was taking advantage of me being American. I would stay at the hotel again but would not dine at the restaurant.

Relaxing stay

**when you're calling the phone number to the hotel, you were not getting the front desk. I'm not sure where I was wired to. ** make sure to go to the rooftop if you want a rooftop pool view, with lounging beds, and seating area. It's great in the morning! Press Gon the elevator button. It is the main reason why I booked this hotel. The hotel is a bit away from the downtown area. But along the main road, this hotel sits on, or so many unique shops and restaurants you must try. The rooms are essentially the average size room. I love the shower stall. You have a blow dryer, mini bar fridge, and a safe in your room. Michelle at the front desk is wonderful ** there is a small pizza restaurant attached to this hotel. The staff is really nice and they do offer a good selection of food.

Shout out to the morning staffer - she was the best thing about staying at this hotel, hands-down. Very helpful, friendly, informative, and just genuinely sweet soul. The noise around the property was tough. Dogs barking all day & night. The pictures must have been taken years ago. The room was run down, water leaking from faucet, visible mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling. Ants were all over the bathroom and other dead bugs. The safe beeped on-stop and although this was reported no remedy was provided - I had to stuff wet towels on it to drown out the noise. The patio furniture was not cleaned the entire stay. The pool had dead flies, bees, and other insects floating in it daily, never skimmed. The location was close to several restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a 30-minute walk or 10-minute cab ride. The elevator was slow and sketch. The website showed an on-site restaurant but apparently it had been closed for months. The room smelled of mildew.

I came here as a solo female traveller, wanting a place to stay that wasn’t going to be as loud as staying in the heart of town. 5th Ave is one block away, with tonnes of restaurants nearby, and about a 30 minute walk from being right in the heart of the party. The location is awesome, and I felt very safe walking home late at night. I typically had the rooftop pool to myself and the staff was very, very friendly. Coffee in the restaurant below was really good and the staff there kind as well. The only negative is that people who stay there ignore the pool being closed at 10 pm and party all night very loudly. The staff should lock the door the pool or add some security measure. I would also request not staying on the 4th floor because you can hear the pool a lot more. Bring ear plugs for the various dogs barking and doors slamming shut. The room is big and the bathroom as well. There is a smell when you first arrive but it goes away after one night (probably the air con turning on helps). I would definitely recommend staying here! The price is excellent for what you get as well.
