We booked Senses even though the reviews were mixed. We definitely weren't happy with the experience we had. The property needs some substantial repairs and maintenance. From the day we arrived, we had no hot water in our shower. We told the lobby staff and they sent the maintenance technician to our room. After several tries, he was able to get lukewarm water. We asked if the issue was just located to our room and we were told that this issue is throughout the hotel and that the water never gets hot. We overheard another couple telling the lobby staff about the lack of hot water. We were able to use the jet tub the whole length of our stay to bath as that did have hot water. We lost hot water in the tub the day before we were supposed to come home but they were able to fix it. We have messages back and forth on WhatsApp regarding both of these issues. The tub we had was cracked and also repaired in a few places. They also removed the shower head in the tub so you couldn't use it to shower. What appears to be a hot tub on the balcony is not. It's just a cold water immersion pool. The food was ok most days and be mindful of the all inclusive package. We were told via WhatsApp that their are limits to the premium alcohol based drinks you can have with your package. The service staff (servers) did all they could to make this an enjoyable experience. Santiago, Christian, and Mesero did an excellent job. I would recommend staying elsewhere until all of the issues can be fixed.

What a phenomenal boutique hotel. I have never experienced a small boutique property quite like this one. Every room overlooks the ocean and is incredibly spacious—approximately 1,000 square feet—which made the stay feel extra special and serene. This is not a party hotel, as there are no organized guest activities. Instead, it’s a place designed purely for relaxation—perfect for enjoying the ocean views, the pool, and the peaceful atmosphere. Finding the hotel was a bit unusual, as it’s tucked deep into the forest, but that only added to the charm. It truly felt like a hidden gem 💎 with strong Tulum-style vibes. The all-inclusive experience was good, though not exceptional. There is only one restaurant, and the food options are somewhat limited. Portions are quite small, so you’ll likely find yourself ordering multiple dishes to feel satisfied.

Shuttle service did not show up and we waited an hour, later the front desk said he had to pay for my ride because we did not show up, we had what’s ap communication verifying the shuttle was not there, so we took alternate car. We finally arrived at 1 and they said the room would be ready at 2, we walked around and then at 2, they said 3, which was fine. We went to the store and got a few things and came back. They informed us our AC in our room went out, so they were trying to fix it. We waited until 6pm to get in, they comped dinner and drinks for the inconvenience. We got to that room and the sheets had a large stain on them of red color. We requested a new room, the room we received had ac and it was clean. Win? No. We had no water pressure and warm water at best. It was cold showers the entire time. We never complained about the water because by this time nothing was working and nothing was making it better. The food was not good, BUT BUT the service in the restaurant was amazing! The servers were everything! The food may be awful but the servers were perfect! Also, they have a hot tub but they need a 2 hour warning to put water in, we scheduled it for 9pm and let them know at 4pm. When we got ready to use it, it was not filled, cold water and terrible pressure. We gave up at this point. We tried everything to remain hopeful, but the final day when the front desk man named Thomas had an attitude about having to pay for the airport shuttle we didn’t show up to, I gave up
