A good deal a bit away from the center.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Angelo's. The room we had was very large at the end of the hall so our balcony wrapped around the building. We stayed for seven nights and each day our room was cleaned and the bed made and two bottles of water were supplied each day. The breakfast was fairly simple and not much variety over the seven days, but the service was wonderful. The man who served us was polite and very efficient. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool area was a nice place to relax. The only negative is that it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach area. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy but the people are friendly. The hotel is a very good deal for the amount of money it charges.

The hotel was a huge disappointment! The photos for booking looked lovely…not so much in real life. The area is not really, enjoyably, walkable. The infinity pool looks directly at the power station 2 blocks away. So many other issues. Told the front desk the first night we wanted to leave, the cancellation policy is 50%…left the next morning. Don’t recommend for a vacation.

Very clean, good service, large room. It is right off the Cancun-Tulum highway and good place to stay if you are on your way further south. Good choice for Playa if you have transport to beach, ferries, 5th avenue.

I liked the large rooms and the rooftop pool and the views from up there. Breakfast was modest but it was included so great. Laundry directly across street and all rooms have a nice big balcony.
