This property was beautiful. Everything is impeccably maintained and the staff are all beyond kind. We visited with our toddler daughter and it was very easy to get around, enjoy all the pools, and most places allowed kids to eat free. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely fantastic property. Loved the many dining options. The beach pool was gorgeous. The sheer amount of pools made it difficult to swim in all of them during our stay. The room service and in room dining were amazing. The outstanding butler service and our Villa made our stay so comfortable and easy. Two tiny things that could use some improvement: 1. Very little to do for kids under 5. No toy or book store and the kids club is limited for those ages too. 2. The service in the restaurant by the beach was incredibly slow. Including drink service by the pool. Also the big pool by La Laguna was often not tended to and trash or towels laid around for hours in the late afternoon. Otherwise we loved our stay and would come again and would recommend it to friends and families with no hesitation.

This is a strong recommend. Note that there is a $100/day resort fee that isnt transparent upfront. But this place is a really strong recommend. I would go back in a heartbeat

We have stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba hotel more than 10 times. This was our first visit to Heritage place. Absolutely everything about the property was amazing. Having 3 bedrooms each with ensuites was a total bonus for our extended family. There are 2 beautiful pool areas that you essentially have to yourself. Being separate from the main hotel but still enjoying all of the hotel amenities was like having the best of both worlds. Our incredible butler, Alejandro, was always available and could not have been more helpful. We already have our next visit planned and can't wait to return

Our experience at Fairmont Mayakoba was nothing short of exceptional. From the pre-arrival planning (with our rockstar butler FERNANDA) to our arrival, everything was perfect. The team (now family) at Fairmont Mayakoba helped us with anything we needed (medicine when our little was under the weather, to sundry items that we didn't have and needed). The suite was perfectly appointed and every detail tended to. Our housekeeping and turndown teams were exceptional as well. We just got back and are already planning our return! Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough leverage (as a 70 year old) to go up the slight hills. The grounds are beautiful, with interesting wildlife. You can take a boat ride around Mayakoba and see the whole area. The staff is incredibly helpful and can arrange anything you want to do, either in Mayakoba or nearly Playa del Carmen. Definitely a rare experience. (1) The Four Seasons Hoi An in Viet Nam is probably still number one ever, but that's an impossible bar to exceed.
