Beach House Hotel is a great budget pick! I stayed two weeks for a diving/birthday/remote working/girls trip and the vibe felt more like an apartment, less like a hotel. Of course, the rooms didn’t look shiny and new, and there were some details that weren’t great like a leaky sink pipe and stained bedding/towels. But the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the AC was great, the WiFi worked perfectly, and I barely noticed the loud music from the nearby clubs after a few days LOL. I knew to keep my expectations in check due to the price, so I was very happy with how everything turned out. The woman who checked me in couldn’t find my room at first, but the cleaning staff in particular is super friendly; and Manchas the cat manager is a legend. I’d definitely recommend this hotel as a budget stay for fellow divers and remote workers!

Best hotel I have stayed at... for the price. The rooms were clean. The staff was freindly. Even gave tips for a solo traveler to be safe while visiting the city. Very accomidating, services I get from much higher priced hotels. When I return I will stay again.

It’s a nice place to stay if you don’t mind hearing the music from the clubs around you or if you’re into clubbing. It is a bit far from a nice beach entrances, but there’s a nice dock nearby. The shower is a bit confusing to use, but not impossible. The staff is nice and there a cat that receives you at the front desk.

I stayed here as a solo traveler. The price is affordable and the location is excellent, especially if you want quick access to shops and transport. The staff were accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. The room itself is basic. The bathroom ceiling had significant mold, the shower had very low water pressure, and there was a noticeable odor in the bathroom. These issues lowered my comfort level and should be addressed by management. On a positive note, I left all my important items and cash on the bed on my first day while the room was cleaned, and everything was still there when I returned. That made me feel the property is reasonably safe. Be aware that the property sits next to several bars, so it can get loud until about 3–4 AM. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or request a room away from the street if possible. Bottom line: Good value for the price if you need a convenient, budget stay and prioritize location and safety over room quality. Don’t expect luxury; you get what you pay for.

The staff at the location is super sweet and helpful, it does stay pretty loud until 3 am so if that's a deal breaker then don't book here. Thr location is super central to everything even to the buses you can book to go thw airport and other cities.

We encountered 3 different staff members and they were all very polite, friendly and helpful! This location is awesome, with convenience stores and pharmacies within a couple minutes walk. The coffee shop attached has great coffee & friendly staff as well. The place itself was clean and had the basics necessary for a comfortable stay (i.e A/C, towels, shampoo, soap). The taco place across the street is truly a gem. Would definitely stay here again!

Found this place after our other hotel overbooked. Jorge the owner could see we were tired after a long day of travel, and set us up in a back room with balcony. Staying anywhere around 5th Ave. can get noisy at night, but it was quite quiet, and we slept just fine. We appreciated his care and concern. Rest of staff all friendly as well. Clean room, good WiFi, hot showers, a block from the beach. Great value for the price. No complaints. Thanks again Jorge.

Basic nice Hotel for stay, staff is friendly and do needful to keep you comfortable. (location has 3-4 night clubs blasting music late night) very noisy. suggest some soundproofing around doors and windows would help customers sleep peacefully.
