"The small hotel is very nice and conveniently located just outside of the crowded area with available parking which is big thing in Florence! But what makes this hotel special are definitely the people work there. They will go above and beyond to help you with your needs or just to make you feel comfortable! "Beautiful B&B with a great breakfast area, garden, large room/bathroom and fantastic staff! Agatha at the front desk was so helpful and enjoyable to talk to! And the owner Simone did a beautiful job decorating, there were tasteful signs all over the property in English/Italian indicating the location of things and suggestions for local things to do in the city. So amazing! The Wi-Fi was very fast, as well."

"Upon arriving, our room was upgraded to a Prince Suite for our Honeymoon, the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. The A La Carte cuisine was amazing and they provided transportation to the edge of the city upon request, AND picked you up again. And as for the beautiful gardens! We can not praise this gorgeous villa enough and look forward to our next visit."

"We loved our stay at Benci! It’s in a prime location and surprisingly quiet, given it’s above a bar. Super clean, cute, and comfortable. If you have a larger checked bag be aware there are steps up to the guest house, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The bar downstairs (Moyo Bar) is also very hospitable and a great spot for an espresso or drink. We had a car and the parking garage Benci recommended was close and easy to find. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!"

"It's always risky to choose a hotel in a foreign country from your computer, but I really lucked out on this choice. Hotel degli Orafi is a class operation in a perfect location. Right next to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum, blocks from the Duomo and a seemingly endless choice of restaurants. I stayed for one night in a really cute little room. Small, but so well appointed. I left for Tuscany for a week and returned for 2 nights. They upgraded me to a suite which was a real surprise but...

"A great location as a home base for Florence. All of the major attractions were within a 25 minute walk, with most less than 15 minutes away. There is a great little grocery store very close by as well as many restaurants, shopping and gelato shops. I stayed in the Studiolo (for solo travelers) and was very impressed with the cleanliness.
