We had some trouble with luggage storage, and again no one to problem solve…there was apparently a manager on site who refused to come assist, instead a housekeeper attempted to problem solve."

"We absolutely loved staying here. The staff was so helpful. We rented a van so parking was a challenge, but we were able to get that sorted out at a parking garage. The hotel is centrally located to so many hitorical sites. An easy walk to the Duomo, the leather markets, restaurants, and everything else in that area. Absolutely perfect location. "Magnificent stay. It was the perfect location to see all the sights on both sides of the Arno. Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace was a great spot to eat with a fantastic view. Staff was kind and room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend. "

"Good hotel. Breakfast was good. Room also good for europe standard: big enough. Location is good. They have a new bar and front desk was advertising it with discount on first drink. However, when you go to the bar, it was pretty clear that this was a new endeavor for them. There were 3 group of people in bar in total and everyone in staff seemed overwhelmed with that. After waiting for 10 mins without being addressed, walked out and still no one asked what is up. Minus the bar, hotel is great....

"We loved our stay at Benci! It’s in a prime location and surprisingly quiet, given it’s above a bar. Super clean, cute, and comfortable. If you have a larger checked bag be aware there are steps up to the guest house, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The bar downstairs (Moyo Bar) is also very hospitable and a great spot for an espresso or drink. We had a car and the parking garage Benci recommended was close and easy to find. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!"
