"This was my first solo trip and wanted somewhere to relax and unwind for a few days. I could ramble on but without a doubt I’m very happy I stayed at the Wayfarer. It’s in the perfect location close to all the bars and restaurants but removed enough it’s not noisy and a little more quiet! The pool and lounge area were well kept, but the access to the beach was the highlight of my trip. Beach chair rentals only $15 per day but totally worth it with free towels. Shoutout to Rick the overnight...

"We stay here at least once a year, always have a great time. The recently remodeled look was impressive, the restaurants are excellent."

"This property really showed its age, checkin was not easy, our room wasn't ready at the 4:00 check-in time. we had to wait, which was very disappointing when you been traveling. property was across the street from a mall that had a lot of dinning options that was good, because the PF Changs that is located next door was not good. Once we finally was check-in room really showed its age, meaning the pull out sofa bed well lets just say it had a sag and squeeked. But we were there for college tour....

"Hola le daría 5 estrellas pero solo porque se tuvieron que mover los muebles para que el aire funcionara y pues ya quitó la hermosa decoración del hotel . Pero todo exelente fuera eso muy atentos y muy amables ."

"View was fantastic. I loved having a balcony, view of the bay, and fresh air through screened doors. The staff were warm, friendly, and Jason did magic and found me the most desirable room. Reason for my stay was due to a tragic death in my family. Being at Marriott Courtyard provided ease and comfort during most difficult time. One more thing the breakfasts are superb"

"Pros: Close to our destinations (SeaWorld, beach), free breakfast, plenty of parking, full-sized twin rollaway bed for our third guest, mini fridge and microwave in our king bedroom. Cons: shampoo, conditioner, and body wash required 100+ pumps to produce even the most average amount of product for use. Extremely frustrating."

"Room hallways smelled like cigarette but other than that my stay was okay. Rooms were clean."

"The fridge was full of ice , and it froze all the drinks I put , Ac was too low and the room was too cold , pillows were flat , not enough towels in the room , i struggled to fall asleep and the ac was set on very low temp even after I had the tech come and set it to 75 degrees."

"Came here for a little weekend getaway with my wife. Room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Staff was very helpful and friendly when checking in. Locations is very close to everything you’d need. About 5-10 min from nice beaches and about 20-25 min from Downtown SD. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast provided or the pool area. Overall a great experience and would book again."

"My room was cleaned Saturday morning after arriving on a Friday. It was never cleaned again and we did not leave until Tuesday. They charge you $20 a night for a microwave. Anything you want to do is an extra expense despite paying for a resort fee. When I spoke with the front desk, they were not concerned about the room not being cleaned and stated, “not sure what happened there but you can put own trash in the hallway.”"
