Right in the middle of the day- where one seeks respite from the hot sun and humidity, wanting to get ready for evening activities. Also, I wasn't thrilled with the AC limited to a low of 21 C (where I prefer to sleep at 17 C). I closed the thick sliding doors in the evening and it wasn't a problem sleeping at night. "Excelente opción, 100 % recomendable , muy buena ubicación enfrente exactamente del centro comercial La Isla, pero Lo que más me gustó es que todo el personal fue muy amable, pronta respuesta, resolviendo, un trato muy humano. Excelentes instalaciones, muy buena opción para niños porque las albercas no son profundas , varias opciones y una alberca para los más pequeños de 30 cm , si no tienes plan de salir mucho este hotel lo tiene todo para que te quedes y disfrutes"

"Hotel Nyx Cancun was amazing! It was clean, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurants were great with so many food options to choose from. We were vegetarians so some items we were not able to eat but the limited options for us were great as well. This property was close to the bus station, the mall and and had a nice ambiance with great amenities. Definitely will recommend people to go here."

"Excellent stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful even with a last minute reservation. Right next to praia Caracol, a small beach where super friendly locals come to swim and standup paddle. Also right next to the Caracol Ultramar Ferry which was very convenient for us. It's front of a Starbucks and a Supermarket. Not a fancy stay but very comfortable and clean! A/C also worked well."

"The buffet had great variety of food options. I was apart of the diamond club and I didn’t like that the top shelf liquor was not offered at multiple bars. Also the diamond club bars close early so we had to settle for the bars that offered the cheaper liquors so we did not get a full experience. The communication was a little off when booking the pool party, we were 1st told they ended at 1am then was later told 8pm. Considering we did book a cabana, the pool party actually was over at 6PM so...

"You go to a resort to relax, so having staff approach you constantly to try to sell you different packages can be annoying. I also think there should be more public restrooms in different areas of the resort, as there is only one."
