"First impressions great (even though roadworks on main road, turning to hotel well sign-posted). Friendly welcome explaining the facilities, easy to book parking and lovely to have nice bar/coffee area to relax in. Comfortable chairs and good range of drinks and snacks. Standard double room with king sized bed provided an excellent nights sleep and peaceful setting so refreshed the next day. "Stayed at the village for a night to attend a wedding reception. Staff were friendly on arrival. Room was small but had just what we needed. Bed was very comfortable and the air con worked well in the room we slept well. We did use any of the facilities gym/pool. However break fast was good.would recommend if you need to stay over in Bristol. "
