"This is a charming, characterful, historic hotel that marries its long history with the modern world perfectly. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and provide excellent amenities. The beds are comfortable and the bath/shower, towels, etc most satisfactory. The common areas, bar, restaurant, and pub are good. "Cosy single room in old part of hotel, I was on the top floor - had a fantastic view, may get very hot in the summer as there was no air conditioning and it got a lot of sun. Windows do open though. New bath/shower. Had iron, steamer and ironing board. No mini fridge, but there was a kettle. The room I had did have very steep stairs to get to top floor - probably not great for medium/ big suitcases, small carry on suitcase was fine for me to carry up. Breakfast was marvellous, loads of options...

"We loved the Hotel Tresanton. It was expensive but well worth it. We had room 26 which is very high so you should check the room number if you have any mobility issues. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was the highlight of our 24 day stay. Our server, Izzy in the bar was amazing. "

"Property was perfect for my family. Lovely and clean and everything that was needed for our stay was there. Beautiful garden and setting with ease of parking right outside. Only one problem was the mattress on the double bed! Terrible sleep due to the large lump in the middle making you roll to each sides. This could easily be solved with a new mattress. "
