Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again.
This isn't a 5* hotel nor is it trying to be! A beautiful Inn, freshly renovated with a great vibe. The staff and food can be described as exceptional. I understand how the reviews are so good and I'm happy to add to them.
Jacobs Ladder is a lovely pub in a very convenient part of town. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very good for the price.

Lovely hospitality from the start to the finish.
Very welcoming and attentive, lovely and warm bedroom with a comfortable bed and made sure all our dietary needs met at breakfast 😀
Beautiful pub where you could easily spend a lazy rainy Sunday. Great staff and lovely relaxed vibe. The room was very comfortable, lovely bathroom and soft mattress. Breakfast was great!
I loved staying at Jacob's Ladder. The rooms are gorgeous and the owners are fabulous. You can walk all over Falmouth from this location. The pub is fun and family friendly. The food is great. My room was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!!

Liked: Staff & service
Prior knowledge that there would be a karaoke night until midnight directly below the room, a stag do and it would be noisy directly outside until almost 1 am, we would not have chosen to stay there.
Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly.
Booked a twin room , this was at the front of the building .
The room was very pleasant, clean and smartly decorated and comfortably furnished. The beds , linen and pillows all excellent. Unfortunately it was a very hot day and night and to attempt to cool the room we had to open the sash window fully which allowed in the smoke and conversation from the pavement tables below .
The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast very good.
The 110 granite steps of Jacob’s Ladder were challenging after supper in town, the kitchen being closed on Wednesday. We were made aware of this and the risk of noise from the pub before we stayed.
The pub is directly below. the nights we were there there was quiz night and bingo. All went on late and loud. Facilities otherwise good. Steep stairs to rooms
The pub was a popular place with the locals and we did have a nice stay the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us when we needed extra milk/teabags for the room
