"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "

"Look it was a hell of lot cheaper than what I could find. I had no problem with the place although I can see why people would have. I wanted somewhere to crash and have a shower. Stayed for four nights. If you want quality look elsewhere, If you want friendly staff, good breakfast, a clean bed and a reasonable bathroom you can't fault it."

"Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "

"Reception was excellent. Grounds/estate amazing, miles of walking and an historic church with a 900 or so old Yew. It is worth reading the history of the place, layers and layers of it. They take beautiful care of the property. I had a beautiful room with a beautiful view right out my doors and a little patio. "You need sharp eyesight to see the hotel as it's right on the roundabout. It was perfectly placed for where we needed to be the next day. Parking was not a problem. The room was an odd shape and in need of new carpet. The doors are fire doors and they really did Bang shut every time someone came in our out of the coach house. The staff were Friendly and very helpful without being intrusive . The tables in the restaurant felt sticky which slightly puts you off although the meals were...

"Loved the pub, was really nice and some of the staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing, not much fruit , breakfast was cold even though was under heat lamps. We stayed in room 1, first impressions looked lovely, however when u looked deeper, around the front doors behind curtain cob webs. Cob webs behind bedside tables. The blind in the bathroom was full of dust. So overall the cleanliness was very very poor. Bed very uncomfortable. Needs a really good overall."

"This is a shared bathroom with at least 6 other rooms which is unsuitable if you are travelling with an elderly parent. There is also No Parking despite this being advertised. The property did not reply to me about address and parking until the day AFTER my stay. Prooery did not reply to Expedia when we needed urgent support. We had to find our own alternative accommodation and still no resolution or contact from the property!!"
