"You need sharp eyesight to see the hotel as it's right on the roundabout. It was perfectly placed for where we needed to be the next day. Parking was not a problem. The room was an odd shape and in need of new carpet. The doors are fire doors and they really did Bang shut every time someone came in our out of the coach house. "Loved the pub, was really nice and some of the staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing, not much fruit , breakfast was cold even though was under heat lamps. We stayed in room 1, first impressions looked lovely, however when u looked deeper, around the front doors behind curtain cob webs. Cob webs behind bedside tables. The blind in the bathroom was full of dust. So overall the cleanliness was very very poor. Bed very uncomfortable. Needs a really good overall."

"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "

The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. "Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there."
