We stayed a week in Wailea (more expensive) and was a little disappointed in the food on property at the Royal. Paid for ocean front because love to hear the ocean waves at night. on the ninth floor and music from the restaurant on the ground floor was so loud we couldn't enjoy being on the oceanfront. Talked to front desk about and they were indifferent snd said they knew it was a problem. Very disappointing response! Other than that our experience was very good.Don't pay the extra for oceanfront!"

"Gorgeous, peaceful bungalow with an ocean view. This is a great way to get away from it all and experience the road to Hana and beyond. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Food options for dinner were several food trucks or a restaurant across the street that we passed on. We tried the Mexican food truck and nearby Huli Huli chicken. That and some provisions we picked up along the way filled us up after hiking and exploring. We would have tried room service but it was not app based...
