"Our family of 4 checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday. We have stayed at several hotels in Chicago, but moved the Embassy Suites. The living room has a nice pullout couch that was surprisingly comfortable. The mini fridge was nice to keep some leftovers. We didn't use the microwave, but it was nice to have. The kids loved playing at the pool and really just loved playing in the room, too. We loved the separate living room area, so the kids had their own room at night. The free breakfast was by far the best free breakfast any hotel has ever offered that we've visited. It's so worth it, since it has something for everyone. The hot food consisted of eggs, breakfast potatoes/hash browns, sausage, and pancakes/waffles/French toast on rotation. There is also a chef to cook eggs/omelet to your liking. There's cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and probably more that I missed. The staff at the hotel were all extremely nice and helpful. The location is in a prime location near Michigan Ave and the L. We also walked to Shedd Aquarium from the hotel. It's a trek, but so nice to walk by the lake. The kids both want to stay at the Embassy Suites the next time we stay in Chicago, so it got a 5 star rating in their eyes, too! Fabulous stay!!"

"Excellent staff. Free bottled water station, laundry, and clean. Parking is cheap daily offsite for the loop. The pub attached to the hotel is reasonably priced and the food was good. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay."

"This building is older and does not have any updates or renovations. The rooms are nice and clean, but our room did not have central a/c. Windows can open, and they will provide a fan upon request. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. "

"I loved my stay at this hotel. A large part of my trip was visiting restaurants in the west loop and this hotel was the perfect location for that! Just a short walk to Restaurant Row. The staff were so delightful and helpful! Shoutout Felicia and Debbie! The balcony was a lovely touch and free luggage storage after we checked out was very easy and helpful! Also, the restaurant on site was a surprise delight! Loved all the food and the staff and the coffee!!"
