"Riu plaza hotel is a nice hotel. It's a nice hotel walkable to a lot of good places to eat shop and sightseeing. The Pier 39, embarcadero and many other beautiful establishments are just a walk away from the hotel. The front desk staff were nice, and the concierge were a great help. The breakfast buffet was good and well organized. They have a good system, the staff were quick and moved efficiently. Best of all the food was great with great choices."

"The closest stay to Chinatown - perfect to enjoy the summer night market. Plus a short walk to North Beach and about 30 min walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Love not having to drive around - walking was a fun experience to see the city!"

"This is our second visit to this super hotel. We loved its convenience, the little extras like morning coffee, evening milk & cookies and plenty of games. The hotel is very convenient for walking to Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39, catching the cable cars across the city or to pick up the many highways. We would return here when we visit the city again. "
