Carnival Palace Hotel

"I loved this hotel. It’s beautiful but not over the top. The service is fantastic, especially the two blonde ladies that run the breakfast (I’m sorry, I’m terrible with names!). I loved that it was in a quiet area, but still super quick to get to on the Vaporetto. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"We took a private water taxi from the airport to the hotel and it was so easy and quick + fun experience. We cannot say enough great things about this property location (location, location location!). That being said, upon arrival, we were early (jet lagged and tired). They accommodated our luggage to hold until the room was ready. We were in desperate need of drinks- we received a free drink and there were lots of choices (thank you!) the lobby area was amazing, we could rest and hang out and there was a bathroom. We went out exploring and our room was ready and they took our luggage up the 4th floor (again thank you assisting after a long travel). I will say the girl working the day of our arrival spent lots of time with us- very friendly and helpful. Our adult daughter was tired and she assured us that she would be fine staying in the lobby until the room was ready. The building is next to a church and we could hear the bells ring and we had several windows with charming views. The area was quiet and restful. It was close to everything! We would stay here again."

"The room has an A/C - air conditining, warm/cold running water, has a small shower room fit for a slim person, bathroom sink, toilet, and bidet, clean sheets, and with some toiletries. It is a long walk from the Venezia Sta. Lucia train station. I stayed for one night and a last minute decision to stay in Venezia, Italia."

"The wood floor, clean room, operable windows, and friendly staff were great. It was a bit small, but worth the price. The breakfast exceeded my expectations! Scrambled eggs, cappuccino machine, fresh fruits, croissants as good as France’s, and so much more! We walked with our suitcases and backpacks from the train station upon arrival and walked to the bus station for our departure, where we had a 20 minute ride to the airport for about €11. Quick walk to the water taxi also, for which we bought a 2-day pass for about €35. The hotel had an elevator, but i recommend travelling light! If you have heavy or multiple suitcases, you may need a porter as there are many ramps/steps in Venice, which are inaccessible or unhelpful for wheelchairs and heavy suitcases! I highly recommend Venice for at least 3-4 days. And if your budget is limited and need a good location, this hotel is great! I only wished that they had a ceiling or floor fan to keep the air fresher!"
