"The hotel setting is good and the staff were all great……but they advertised a gym, which is a room with 4 bits of equipment and some small hand weights…..they should put photos of what it actually looks like (it’s not a gym)."

"It was mostly clean, bed was clean, facilities were. I could see spills on wall, but otherwise quite clean. Bathroom very clean and shared kitchen kept well. Was in area a little ways from city centre but not too much of a walk from the end of the Royal Mile. A safe area, coffee shops and groceries nearby."

"We were on a 3-country vacation (England, Scotland, and France). My family of three stayed at this location for a night before for our 3-day Isle of Skye excursion. We realized that our luggage limits for the excursion at that time, had exceeded since the family decided to purchase souvenirs in London. "The location was great for getting into downtown Edinburgh by bus. Very Easy pick up and drop off out front. Parking can be an issue. Limited space on property but then you can pay to park in zoo parking lot, or keep moving your car as spots open up. Inquire more for parking. Also please be aware there are no wash cloths in Scotland or Ireland. Not even at a Holiday Inn. We went and bought one at a beauty/pharmacy store."
