Best Western Inchkeith hotels

"This is a new hotel in a beautiful location. I was able to walk everywhere. Parking is not easy, so if you don’t need a car I would skip the rental. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. Food was good at the bar, I did not eat at the restaurant which is separate. Staff was incredibly friendly. The bartenders made good drink recommendations, and had quick service. The room was great. Lighting was a little weird in my opinion very soft lighting which made the room feel dark. The bath towels were huge and so cozy. I would definitely stay there again!"

" ⸻ Great location with a stunning view of the river, and a beautiful little park and village nearby with lovely architecture. It’s only about a 25-minute walk from Waverley Station, which was very convenient. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful – from the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was excellent. The hotel itself was very clean and we had a really good stay. Some areas, such as the toilets, are starting to look a little dated, but overall it was well kept and spotless. Absolutely satisfied with the experience and would happily stay again."

"Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The shower / toilet and vanity arrangement was unusual in that the vanity area was open . Note there are no coffee facilities in the room."

"The staff is fantastic. The bunk beds are comfy & clean. They have daily activities in the common room (beer & whiskey tastings). The hostel is in the middle of many important historical sites. Right on the Royal Mile & close to Edinburgh Castle."

"Relatively basic, but comfortable, hotel, although with a peculiar bathroom set-up. The bathroom was a raised circular addition to a room that likely didn’t have facilities or was previously student housing. A space pod would best describe it. As a result, it was relatively cramped with limited counter space. No phone in the room. On the other hand, a good hot breakfast was available at extra cost. And very very close to the Royal Mile. This fact alone rises above the room criticisms, so go with the proximity to the attractions over minor criticisms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the places to see and places to eat. Overall, a good place to see Edinburgh. "

"Great location for Waverley access on foot. Despite the busy streets outside, it was quiet and comfortable inside my room. Check in was quick and trouble free, with a friendly reception. I didn’t dine at all as this a brief layover (21:00 arrival and 08:30 check out) but I’d definitely recommend the hotel."
