"The reception team is extremely helpful (especially Eric). We were able to check in already at 10am on the day of arrival and keep the room until 2pm on the day of departure. We also received an upgrade for one of the rooms. Breakfast buffet has everything you need - egg dishes are ordered directly and freshly prepared. "My husband I stayed here for 2 nights and had the best time. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as we ran into issues with our Uber driver. The hotel was incredibly clean and it was located in a great area. Amazing restaurants were in walking distance. Highly recommend! "

"A no-nonsense hotel. Nothing special and nothing wrong and it still maintains real bathrooms instead of the shower pods with in-room sinks that have become depressingly normal these days. Great location, boosted by the new Exhibition Centre MTR, good staff, but the main strength is its rooms. Big, clean and well appointed at the price point."

"I arrived to Ovolo Southside early hoping to at least store my bags before check-in, but they gave me a free early check-in! The room was full of unexpected surprises such as the free mini-bar and the cool touchpad in the room that controls your status (do not disturb, request room service, etc.). I enjoyed my stay and would happily do so again, but just be aware of the noise, it could get noisy at some parts of the day."
