"This is not a 4 star hotel as rated online. The bed was completely saggy on both sides, the pillows were quite firm and chosen for people with broad shoulders, very puffy. I asked for a different pillow and was told that there is only one type of pillow in the hotel. The push window opened, but there was no way to close it again. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a plane was landing in there... I asked for a quiet room, and they delivered on that. The people at the front desk were courteous...

"Great location. Near our son’s apartment. 2 night stay. We ended up in a handicapped room which was not very clean and had several problems. Two electrical outlets did not work, the night lights did not work the beside table cords were twisted so the controls were on the sides. Someone left an 8 foot clothes rack on wheels in our room when we were out to dinner. Room was dark. Staff worked diligently to fix things. Beds were good. Service was good. "Good place, good people. Like this chain, would happily stay there again. Little lapses - restaurant and terrace hours not listed anywhere I could find, for instance - had to ask. Arrangement with dry cleaners very helpful at the end of a month-long trip, but laundry list and staff gave different stories on timing. Likewise, I think there was room service, but there was no obvious menu or availability time listed anywhere and the restaurant menu on the web site doesn’t match the actual menu...

"This hotel was clean and near where I needed to be in Brooklyn. Very easy to get on the train to Manhattan and on to LGA as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only drawback at all would be the breakfast- the coffee was not really hot but they did offer several different milk/cream options. I was going out for breakfast anyway so lack of options was not an issue for me but it might be for others. I'll be back!"
