"We really love this hotel. The location was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. We could watch the sunset in the evening right in front of our room. Waterfront hotel, easy access to everything yet out of the main hubbub of town. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Pool area very nice. Had kayaks to take out to bay but no paddle boards. All adjacent resorts, lodges had paddleboards but not this place, I was jealous 😊. Pegs Scones were fun, coffee really good. 3/4 kitchen very nice to have. Meticulously maintained property, beautiful surrounding gardens."

"Stay was great. There was only an AC unit in the bedroom so front room was a little warm during the day. But cooled off at night. Quiet, clean and not far from the downtown area."

"The room was clean but TINY. My family of 4 struggled in a room in the River House. You could hardly turn around in the bathroom. Breakfast was not included and was quite expensive if you wanted to purchase it."
