"Pros: Great location near the tube, lots of food, shopping, convenience stores, etc close by. The hotel also had a great lobby to hang out at. Cons: The bed was AWFUL, & I’ve never experienced anything so bad at a hotel & I travel a lot between work & pleasure. The room only had 1 small table & one chair - despite the fact that there were 2 beds. So if you wanted to eat out use your laptop in the room someone had to sit on the bed - which I’m positive is why the bed was destroyed & flat as a...

"The hotel is an an excellent location: a tube stop is literally across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance, including Covent Garden, the Victoria and Albert, Natural History, and Science museums. "The room was just ok. I had stayed at another property at Park Plaza Westminster before. This Riverbank property was not as nice; particularly the bathroom shower in my room was not clean ie the shower had soap scum and evidence of dry rot adjacent to the door . The staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good; some items especially the fresh fruit were in short supply. Overall a good stay."

"This was my third time staying at the Chesterfield Mayfair. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful-getting taxis, and service inside the restaurant for breakfast, for example. And they were accommodating to my special request to have a room equipped with walk-in shower. And the breakfast offerings and dinner at their Butler’s restaurant were excellent."
