"When I arrived at the property the staff was so welcoming and kind which made my check in process very pleasant and efficient. When i entered my room was it was clean and due to the weather at a very tolerable chill room temp. I enjoyed my stay and I will return soon."

"The room seemed clean, but the bathroom was a little dirty. They require a $300 deposit, which I thought was too much for just one night. I only slept there for about 6 hours. I wasn’t able to shower in the morning because of the shared bathroom situation. There were two other guests using the bathroom in the morning and I had to check out by 10am."

"The hotel was easy to find. The free Parking was a huge plus! Only 5 minutes walk to a CTA bus stop or Metra train. Our room was very clean. My only complaint was the lack of amenities. There wasn't even an ice or water machine, no vending machines, no breakfast. But if you just need a place to sleep while you explore Chicago by day then this place is perfect."

"Don't stay here . It's not safe . Could not even check in with reservations. Slept on sidewalk literally. Had to get a refund even after filing out paperwork and told to come back for room key later . I did and nobody there spent hours on hold in streets trying to resolve. Expedia couldn't even get ahold of property. Very disappointed on property side and Expedia. You have been warned trust the reviews this place is horrible"

"My guest room at the Canopy by Hilton Chicago was beautifully appointed, and I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine and the refillable water bottle—both thoughtful touches. However, the lobby felt a bit worn, and the coffee bar and main bar, despite being described as 24 hours, had limited operating hours. The location is excellent, with easy access to major Chicago attractions, restaurants, and coffee shops. The biggest disappointment was the service: the desk clerk I interacted with...

"The shower was gross. There was hair on the wall of it. Like somebody had their head smashed against it. Disturbing amount of hair. They don’t tell you that parking is a 100$ a night but you get one night free if you self park. Needlessly stressful. Bed not very comfortable. Just kind of run down."
