"The service at the desk was friendly and polite. The only issue we had was addressed immediately. The room was clean, and we always returned to a fresh room. We appreciated the location and found the street to be quiet while still in a good location for accessing public transportation and popular tourist sites. The hotel is older and maybe a little rough around the edges, but it had everything we needed. "

"Had a great 3 night stay to visit NY for the 1st time. Walked everywhere as well situated on 42nd street. Close to Grand Central Station, UN Building and Central park. 30 min walk to The Empire State and 1 hr walk to pick up The Circle Line Cruise around Manhattan (would recommend). Staff all lovely and hotel spotlessly clean. Would stay again in a heart beat. XxX"
