There was a little bit of traffic noise/cool air coming in from around the window frames but considering that it's in a service area on the M25, the noise reduction wasnt bad. Food obtained from the services opposite but you can buy a few small bits from the reception which can be useful"

"Beautiful old English manor dating back to the 1500's. Huge manicured grounds surround the building. We were only there for one night. There is a Michelin star restaurant on property. But we just had a light dinner and drinks in the bar. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well stocked. Be aware that a big part of the charm is because it's an older building so I dont know if it had an elevator. We were on the second floor (third level) and it wasn't a problem walking up to our room."
