"I liked the low cost of a one night stay but ended up paying a little extra to stay somewhere else after I checked into my room. The odour of the whole hotel was musky and damp, including the room. I was told no cleaners were going to be in for a few hours, by that time I was ready to leave. Dark room with same moldy smell, smoke detector not installed (left on night stand). "It was a perfect stay."

"Nice, rustic cabins located in a beautiful, quiet location. The provided canoes and kayaks were a nice touch and we made good use of them. The hot tubs and new barrel sauna were great for those chilly evenings. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they provided games and additional coffee and toilet paper at the front office. The beds were comfortable. It was too bad there was a fire ban when we visited so we weren't able to make use of the wood-burning fireplaces. While...

"This was a lovely hotel for a short stay in Victoria. Friendly and helpful front desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen in the suite was useful to have. Great city views from our balcony. We would definitely stay here again!"
