"Not your typical all inclusive resort, so be careful when booking. Highlight was the room for the price. Massive 1 bedroom villa, almost like a condo with a kitchen, oceanfront. It was great.
Downsides, this place is basically a time share. You are hassled everywhere you go about attending a presentation or buying into the property. We were asked at check-in, they called our room multiple times, and they would stop and ask us when we walked around.
Food was meh. Buffet was not the best. The...

"Free breakfast everyday, both including typical Costa Rican breakfasts, as well as pancakes for those who prefer a breakfast from home.
The thermal springs were the best!! Especially the swim up bar (helps save money on commuting to other thermal springs as well as the entrance fee)
Staff were wonderful! Sweet and helpful at recommending restaurants and activities:)
Transportation from the airport to hotel was $225, so great to split between 5 people."

"Under construction the entire stay. That means HEAVY DRILLING AND HAMMERING from 8am to beyond 6pm EVERY DAY. Awful guest experience, all staff/mgmt claimed ignorance for every point raised (just plain dishonesty and deflection so not to have to remedy). Communication was abysmal, like telling us at check-in that the hotel wasn’t under construction, that these were “hotel improvements”. On our last night, had no water (again not communicated and when called it was like yeah no big deal it should...
