The most disappointing issue was the on-site restaurant service at Tula. We had a miserable lunch service where the food and drink order was over an hour wait. Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025. "The Colony Hotel is the perfect place for a girls get away - the hotel is beautifully decorated and the theme is consistent throughtout the property. The rooms are individually decorated and each one if unique and inviting - the pool is lovely, the bar is a scene and the cocktails are great! The staff goes out of their way to make your experience fabulous - a totally wonderful experience!"

"My bathroom was a mess. The toilet was leaking water. Maintenance went and fixed it. The problem wasn’t fixed, it was still leaking water. I had to call the front desk two more times to send someone to fix it. Then the water wasn’t draining in the tub. Maintenance had to come again to fix it. It was not unclogged all the way. The bathroom floor and the entrance inside the room was dirty. The worst experience I had from staying at an hotel. The front desk staff were really nice and professional."

"The presentation of property and staff were excellent. With that said, the room with 2 beds were doubles and have clear room for queen size beds, which would make the sleeping arrangement way more comfortable for guests. The mattresses were hard. Even the toilet paper was cheap. The restaurants were overpriced, especially when within walking distance you can find just as quality of food for 1/3rd the price. The railing in the courtyards obstructed the view and should be replaced. Needed more...
