"Nice hotel fronting hugh lake, snow mountain. 24/7 reception. The front desk reception is helpful and friendly. Bus station is just behind the hotel. One of hotel stop pickup for daily bus tour which is so convenient. Very highspeed wifi. Occasionally heard some light reno construction noise. At night, is quiet and windy. Just feel safe. "

"Fantastic option for close proximity to downtown Reykjavik. Literally just a few minutes walk to the main shopping / dining street. The apartment was spacious, easy to park close to and very well managed. Getting extra clean towels was super easy, thanks to the very personable cleaning staff who seemed to be based on site."

The downside: you're right in the heart of the main tourist strip in Reykjavik, which can be pretty loud on weekends and holiday evenings, and the two bedrooms and living room face out...

"The property felt like home away from home. It was close to the city 15 mins by car. The grocery store was across the street within walking distance. The apartment was spacious. It had all the amenity needed as my home would have, cook top, refrigerator, nice closet for storage, comfy sofa, shared washing machine and dryer in all floors. The property manager was quick in answering all questions no matter today or night. I did not want to leave. Best experience I have had staying away from home....

"Everything was perfect! We had a great stay, the host (Ingo) was very nice and kind, and helped me with my parking payment issue. But keep in mind that the free street parking might be limited, we were lucky to get the last parking spot at around 7:30-8:00pm. And keep in mind, the laundry is not self-service, so you may need to allow more time for the laundry company to wash and dry your clothes."
