"The location was nice! Close to a few towns and the ferry for the Westman Islands and the waterfalls! The rooms were clean as well as all the common areas! This was the first time at a guesthouse so wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a nice stay!"
"Katerina was an outstanding receptionist and got us situated in the area. Our wait staff at dinner (young woman from Czechia) was also very helpful and friendly, as was the receptionist on our departure."
"We were expecting more of a farm experience but we just got a little lodge on the farm. There wasn't really anyone around or anyone to contact about any potential farm activities. It was a nice stay but if you're looking for any type of farm activity, you might want to stay somewhere else."
"I was the first ever guest to check in to Hotel Loa. They were literally still building it out. They were warm, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again on any future trips to Iceland. "
"By far the most beautiful private space we stayed in while in Iceland. It is very secluded, quiet and the unassuming exterior conceals an interior that will take your breath away. The price seemed a bit high when we booked it, but after experiencing it first hand I feel it was worth every krona and then some. I would love to have stayed a few days so I could really soak in the farm and become even better friends with the resident ponies! It was everything I was hoping it would be! "

"Our stay was really peaceful. The location is ~2miles off of the main highway on gravel & we had a view of one of the larger waterfalls in the distance.
Beds were comfortable. Pull out sofa was ok. Everything worked.
Our sm 1 BR was well appointed. We stayed 2nts w/no issues.
fyi: Hot water is not geothermal so there is a limit to the hot water usage.
Check in was a breeze and there were ports to plug in an electric vehicle.

"The owner / host was very kind. They offered make your own waffles with the breakfast if you pay for it. Google maps is wrong on giving directions. The neighbor had a horse which my daughter enjoyed petting"
"Loved this hotel! Was the best they provide complimentary breakfast and they have a coffee/tea machine we can use 24/7! I loved having endless lattes lol. The best thing was my husband is gluten free and one night we arrived back around 6:30pm and didn’t want to go out to eat. We bought food as we bounced hotels and guest houses hoping to cook. after dinner was served the lady let us use the kitchen to cook gluten free pasta! It was very nice of her to allow us to do that. The service here was 10/10 I would definitely stay here again! And the hotel views of the mountains are amazing!"
