"The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Hotel Kria is beautiful! The food at the restaurant is wonderful and we are there both nights. The included breakfast was wonderful and the staff was knowledgeable for those with Gluten allergies. Great base location for South Coast trips."

"Wir hatten ein Igloo ohne Bad/ Toilette Es ist ein Raum mit 3 Heizgeräten Das Bett hat eine Heizdecke Dadurch das es geregnet hat waren die Scheiben angelaufen und man musste auch die Heizer die ganze Nacht laufen lassen Wir würden es noch mal buchen und die Igloos mit Bad / Toilette probieren Um ein endgültiges Fazit zu ziehen Auf jeden Fall war es eine unruhige Nacht durch die Heizer"

"Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel in Iceland was extremely disappointing. The property was not in good condition, and the overall experience was far below our expectations. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant. It had a strange, dirty smell, and the shower and bathroom facilities were outdated, poorly maintained, and unappealing. The shower curtain was visibly dirty, making the space feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. Another major disappointment was that the photos of the common areas...

"Hotel is next to the power plant, but otherwise nothing around it so beautiful nature views. Very dark at night for Northern Lights. The glass house and Northern Lights bar areas are really cool. The heated outdoor pool is interesting. We had a lovely soak...just note it's only a few feet deep. Food at Silfra was ok. We didn't stay for breakfast. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The ride through the parks to get here is STUNNING."

"Situated on the mountains, view is quite nice. Dinner is not great, not too many options for the price you pay."

I called the hotel contact number, as there is no one on site; it was self check-in. The female representative of the hotel told me she would cancel our reservation with an apology for a lack of notice and information and refund our money. I still have not received my money back in spite of numerous calls by Expedia, myself as well as an email summarizing this...

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft Parkplatz ist mit enthalten Abendessen war sehr gut Frühstück war ok Was wir toll fanden, es gab auf dem Flur ein Kaffee Automat wo man sich jederzeit Kaffee, Tee .. holen konnte"

"The staff were lovely and very nice!! Location was wonderful! We had a great stay! Only side note, we thought the entry to bubble and plastic of bubble could have been cleaner. A good wipe to the plastic would do wonders. Wouldn’t take much to have them thoroughly polished up! Overall, we had a magical stay!!"

"Great location and cozy cottage, but bring your own food if you're vegetarian! The cottage was perfect for our family vacation. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The location is ideal—it's very close to the Golden Circle and the Kerið crater. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, gas stove, microwave, and refrigerator, which came in very handy. A quick tip for vegetarian or vegan guests: the on-site restaurant has almost no...
