"LOVED our stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry. We did have a car and parking was available and free. The rooms were great and the breakfast buffet had lots of options from typical European breakfast to eggs & bacon. We didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant for dinner but it looked good! We will definitely make another trip here when we can. Worth the detour out from the mainland!"

"This is an old house or Barn converted into a Hotel, leaky faucets, hot water runs out in a minute then you wait 15 to 20 minutes or longer. In our room tge hair dryer wasn't working, we called the hotel staff at 6AM since the Hotwater stopped after a minute...they said it wasn't an emergency, taking a cold shower isn't an option especially when you paid top dollar for a room. Staff doesn't show up until 7.30 or 8 AM. You can find plenty of good hotel in VIK the next town 20 minutes away,we wish...

"This property was excellent, clean, quiet, beautiful location and ideal for us to explore the south coast. The hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches of having cooking oil, two different options for coffee, extra towels, salt and pepper and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. Highly recommend and if ever back to beautiful Iceland this is where we will stay. Thanks again for having us."

"The standalone cabin was very well appointed. Great layout in a grassy meadow with picturesque views of waterfalls. The best part of this property is that you have 24/7 access to Seljanfoss waterfalls. We drove the 6 minute drive to the falls at 11:30 at night. We were able to experience the waterfalls with 10 other people! I believe the property is building a restaurant which would be a Boone since the only other food around this area is a 20 minute drive.
